ABOUT mac & bella

 

As the mother of miraculous twins, McKenzie and Annabella, hence mac & bella, and wife to my loving husband, I strive to make our lives healthier. Family is my true inspiration for wholesome wellness and self-care.

 

It is my goal at mac & bella to produce natural, honest soaps and body/bath products from scratch and in small batches that are made with high quality, skin-loving ingredients. Botanicals and herbs are certified organic or personally homegrown in pure soil with no pesticides. When it comes to oils and butters, I choose natural over refined. We use certified 100% pure essential oils, as opposed to synthetic fragrance oils, while natural colorants like clay, spices and purees instead of laboratory dyes. Additionally, I "buy local" to support other small businesses for such ingredients or additives as wildflower honey, brewed craft beer and coffee (grounds).

I have always had a great passion and respect for nature. I love the simplicity of my small rural farm life and the beauty of anything handcrafted.
